Merry Christmas EVERYONE!!!Below are some little tidbits of things that happened in Brazil this year. It was one heck of a ride, but as of today (November 27th, 2010) Joey's lost 135 lbs! And Jena has lost 108 lbs...we've both got TONS of energy and are feeling so much better!

Jena is applying to go back to school full time which means as soon as she's accepted, she'll be getting rid of the dorm mom job. It's been a great opportunity, but change and progress trump it any day!
Joey is doing really well on his off-track this semester at school. He's looking forward to full-time school January-July, and part time school again from September through next December. He'll be doing his internship January-April of 2012 and should graduate July 2012. There is a small light at the end of the tunnel :)
About a year and a half after the complication of Jena's fistula heals, we'll finally be able to look into having kids...which would be so wonderful! Both of us are baby hungry! If that doesn't work out, we are totally open and excited for the option to foster kids and adopt!

I know that God is preparing you to have children! Really, if you can go though all this stuff that life has thrown at you, you are going to be more prepared to have kids than I ever was. You are awesome! We hope you can come see us sometime. BTW we just found out we have baby #2 cookin!
